Tools are only useful when they help reveal the real bottleneck. I do not use a tool because it is popular; I use it when it makes diagnosis or delivery clearer.
My practical WordPress stack
- LocalWP: fast local development and safe testing.
- Query Monitor: finding slow queries, hooks and PHP issues.
- WP-CLI: maintenance, search-replace, checksums and repeatable operations.
- Cloudflare: CDN, DNS, WAF and edge caching.
- SMTP tools: reliable form and transactional email delivery.
- Backups: because every serious change starts with a recovery path.
The Recommended Tools page is where I keep this stack organized. Some links may become affiliate links later, but the recommendation has to make sense first.
